The Life of FI
This website was created initially as my own personal space of writing – one of my many goals in the pursuit of financial independence. I’ve collected my thoughts in the many articles, and shared the resources I’ve come across in the last couple of years since I decided to make it my personal goal to achieve this freedom.
If you’ve stumbled upon this website I sincerely hope that the content is useful to you. Remember that this is only my personal opinions and recommendations – not professional advice since I’m neither a stock broker, lawyer or a therapist. Therefore you should always consider consulting a professional before making drastic changes to your own life.
Achieving FI has been very challenging, but also very fulfilling. That is why I believe that I have something to contribute to this community, this movement of focusing on FIRE – because of experiencing both the upsides but also the downfalls.

About the author
You might be asking yourself a very reasonable question. Why should I be listening to this particular person regarding my life decisions to become financially independent?
Just as you might read books about investing, how to earn more, become more efficient – you are taking advice from people who have done this before. People with life experience that they would like to share – so you can avoid the pitfalls they’ve gone through, and potentially take a shortcut to achieving your own personal goals.
I’ve been working towards FI for years, and I’m soon to achieve my own financial goals. But the path there has been challenging to say the least. And I do have many experiences to share – both good and bad. Something that you can focus on achieving faster than I have – and avoid the same mistakes I’ve made.
At this point in time when writing this, I’m a mid-30’s man – hopefully only a few years from achieving FI.
